Winter is about to begin in Moominvalley. Snufkin takes his backbag and sets out in his journeys. The rest of the Moomins get ready to sleep through the winter, but Moomintroll decides to stay awake and explore the wonders of winter. The animation is based on Tove Jansson's book Moominland Midwinter, so beloved by people all around the world. The film is the first feature film that has been dubbed in Northern Sámi languge.
